“Ash, theres something I’ve been meaning to tell you.” Not even thrown off in the slightest, you reply, “Well whats up you meme loving frickie? Did someone reject you again? Do we need to stop by the supermarket and marathon anime all night?” He smiled, remembering the fun times with his best friend, and continued, ” Nothing like that really,” His eyes dropped to the ground suspiciously. “More or less, I’ve- we have know each other for 10 years. A lot has happened, we have both been through some tough times, am I right?”

You nod, not sure where this was going. more or less you just wanted to take a nap after school like usual, but if your best friend had something to say, he comes before sleep. Smoothing out the top of his hair nervously, he said “Well, you know, its been a great 10 years… but i think theres something, id prefer if you’re okay with it, to change…”

He walked up slowly, meeting eyes with you, and as he glanced quickly at your lips, he lightly kissed you. You were greatly surprised, blushing, and ready to run away, but for some reason you didn’t. Instead you kissed him back. He gracefully brought his hand to your hair and smoothed it softly as you kissed, while his other hand brought to your waist to pull you closer to him. As he broke away from you, both of you flustered, he said,”If that didn’t say enough, Ash, you have been the only one for me. It is sad to realize it took a couple of girlfriends and rejections to realize, but you’ve been there all along. I like you, no. Dare I say, I love you Ash. I’ve loved you all along. “

Not knowing what to say, or what to do really, you searched his face. All there was, was genuine concern, care, and love for the girl in front of him right then. Then you knew too, you didn’t want to admit it all this time for fear of ruining your relationship, but you loved him too. You’ve loved everything about him and more. You smile and say, “And may I dare say, that i too have truly all this time have loved you too, Armin.”

And as Armin embraced you in your arms, he got close to your ear, and whispered, “Bark bark ash desu.”

4 ash ur gonna love

It was a long day of school, regardless, everyday was a long day. However, it always seemed that Armin made things a little easier for you . It always seemed that no matter what, he was always there for you. Of course since he was your best friend since 1st grade, he was always there to pick you up and talk to you about almost everything.

As you two walked home together, you finally gathered your thoughts. Armin had been unusually quiet this whole day, and it worried you. It worried you quite a lot really. You were aware of Armins several crushes, and he rarely got rejected. Course when he did, it wasn’t the best reaction. More or less you comforting him with ice cream and comedy movies with late night lame finger puppet shows. Yet, you didn’t mind, because you guys are best friends, right? At least, you thought you were.

You thought to yourself, that really dating Armin wouldn’t be so bad, his hair was grown out of its bowl cut and now he just ties it into a half pony tail, which looks surprisingly amazing on him, because just somehow, the sun shines a little more on Armin’s gold hair each sunny day. He’s also grown taller than you, at least 3-4 inches in the past 2 years. Also, you’ve know him practically almost all his life, and he has a heart of gold that you admire oh so much.

As you were thinking into space however, he was trying to gather your attention. He was used to this, it always seemed like you were in your own little world. You two stopped near the street where he would drop you off everyday, and Armin took a deep breath.
