When you date a girl with a mental illness, understand that saying "I love you" won't make her better. It won't fix what's wrong. It won't make her happy like you want it to. Saying "I love you" won't make her want to live, it won't make her not want to self harm. If anything it'll just make her feel worse for being so goddamn messed up. So don't bother to say you love her. Don't bother to let her love you. Let her keep her heart in it's cage where it's safe. Let her make the stupid mistakes she'll regret in the morning. Let me make the stupid mistakes I'll regret in the morning.

And maybe it was months ago but it’s starting to catch up to me now. Don’t even know how or why I get myself into these situations

I know we're supposed to make mistakes in life but that mistake is something I didn't want to happen and I didn't think it would have ever happened to me
