It’s good to be meditating despite a lot of distractions. There was enough going on today for me to lose my attention. And yet I managed to suspend the breath and give my attention to each one of my hongs and each one of my saus. If only I could go onwards, completely, despite the disturbances in my immediate environment.

Empty Park

I felt the tension swelling in my chest & I wanted to fly out of the house screaming, so I took a drive & found myself sitting by the creek.

Today is somehow continually filled with the promise of rain, making everything somehow darker & brighter at the same time. The clovers are thick on the ground like a soft blanket & the dogwood blooms hover above.

There is a barren tree sticking out of the rock & heavy from the weight of everything it bows down its branches to the water. I am like it & it is like me, tired & empty.

Please tell me how to be a living thing.
