I don’t judge, because I’ll read anything. ;)  Who knows what the muse will demand in the future?

4: How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?

I answered this one in day221b’s ask (just posted).  I’ve got five thought experiments, four with some writing attached at one stage or another.

5: Share one of your strengths.

I can write quickly, I guess.  :)  

9: Which fic has been the hardest to write?

Let’s see… .  The current one, “Rare Merchandise”, involves a take on the boys that differs just enough from previous stories that I’ve spent a lot of time trying to get the subtlety of their interactions right.  And who knows if it’s going to work, but I’m conscious of trying new things, which is kind of scary.  “Never” was also difficult, because of the small things, and also introducing not-so-obvious faults into heroic characters.

10: Which fic has been the easiest to write?

“Waking”.  It just flowed.  It was short, though, so maybe it doesn’t count.  :)

29: If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?

I’m gonna go out on a limb and assert that STID is a fantastic piece of commercial fanfiction and it needs a sequel (or three).  Bam.  RSV Trilogy.

4: How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?

Well, I actually was trying to organize this last night and I have my handy dandy notecard right…here… .  I’ve got five that have at least some thought into them, and four with actual words on-screen.  One of them is something I rambled about before: bringing mirror!Spock into the normal!Verse.  I don’t want to give too much away, but he has a plan and it involves taking Jim back with him.  What does normal!Spock have to do to save the man he now realizes could be his bondmate?  *cue dramatic music*

12: Is there an episode above all others that inspires you just a little bit more?

“Amok Time” has all the feels, but also “The Omega Glory”, believe it or not, “Doomsday Machine”, and “Balance of Terror”.

13: What’s the best writing advice you’ve ever come across?

Never stop trying to improve, and look for inspiration everywhere: songs, people, conversations, feelings.

17: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

Mostly from start to finish, but some scenes hit my brain ahead of time, and I can feel the story shifting to adjust for them.

20: Describe your perfect writing conditions.

Well, right now I write after the kids go to bed, which means that I’m tired OR I write during five to ten minute breaks during the day which means that I’m rushed.  So, ideal would be kids at my mother’s, a large fountain soda and pretzels, and everything else (house, part-time jobs, spouse, bills, other crap) somewhat under control.  One can dream, right?

38: Talk about a review that made your day.

There have been reviews where I can tell that the reader “got” something subtle that I was trying for, or that the reader escaped into the experience of reading and was emotionally invested in the storyline.  I love those reviews.  And if someone tells me that they re-read one of my stories over and over?  Gold.

I'm procrastinating so I did that K 40Q meme

I have a lot of favorite scenes of him, but if I must choose one, it's him buying Shiro's lie about his ill little sister.  14) Which is your favorite/least favorite Suoh Mikoto scene?

Him and Munakata in that cell. 15) Which is your favorite/least favorite Munakata Reishi scene? Right now it has to be the bitchslap. Awesome. 16) Which is your favorite/least favorite Yata Misaki scene? Doing needlessly elaborate skateboarding tricks in ep 1.  Also when he and whatshisname his buddy were stopped by the school security gates. 17) Which is your favorite/least favorite Fushimi Saruhiko scene? I liked the way he snuck out to hack into the school system. As for least favorites, his "tsk" gets more and more annoying. 18) Which is your favorite/least favorite Neko scene? I can't choose! But if I must it's "katajikenyai"!

 No question about Seri? :/ 19) If you could rewrite any scene in the series, which would it be, and how would you see it go? I'll think about that when the series ends. 20) Since you started watching/reading the series, have you switched your favorite character? Nope. It's always been Munakata. 21) Since you started watching/reading the series, have you switched your least favorite character? Not really, but my interest in Fushimi hit rock bottom after realizing that he's unlikely to be Munakata's brother. Also, his attitude makes him annoying. 22) What was your favorite line in the series? "Me too, Suou." 23) What do you like most about [K]? The animation? The manga style? The writing of the novels? The plot? The characters? The voice actors? The fandom? The whole package - the anime that is, I don't read the manga and don't have the novels. 24) What do you like least about [K]? The animation? The fandom? *shrug* I'd like fandom more if it had more stuff for the ships I like. 25) Do your friends and family know just how much you like [K]? Why or why not? Anime. 30) Would you rather watch raw, subbed, or dubbed in your language (hypothetically)? I mostly watch it raw. 31) If you could change just one thing about [K] (anything—removing a character, changing a pairing pimped in merchandise, changing a single scene, etc.), what would it be? Make Yata a girl. Before the show started I thought he was a girl since he has a girl's name, but then I saw the assigned seiyuu. :(

32) Tell us your thoughts on Kuroh’s relationship with Miwa Ichigen. Creepy, endearing, some combination thereof? Hilarious and endearing? Reminds me of the relationship between Sengoku Basara's Sanada Yukimura and Takeda Shingen.  33) What’s your favorite non-canon/alternative pairing? Are there any canon pairings so far? Anyway, Munakata x Suou (x Munakata, I guess). 34) Whose voice best fits them? Sawashiro Miyuki as Seri. 35) Whose voice least fits them?
