This 400 day clock is unusual in having an oak case. The front door has beveled glass, and the rear door has plain glass. There is plain glass in the sides. The case is 12 5/8 inches tall, and 6 1/2 inches wide at the bottom.
The movement was made by Gustav Becker but has a "BHA" trademark on the back. It is back plate no. 1032 in the "Horolovar 400 Day Clock Repair Guide". It has serial number 2070882 on the back plate, and the Horolovar book lists the year as 1906.
The dial is engraved metal, with white painted finish, and black filled numerals. 2 inch time track, minute hand is 1 inch long from center to tip.
The suspension spring needed replacing. I used a .0045 inch thick Horolovar spring, thinned to 0.0042 inch.
