「ど真ん中」の「ど」は本来古い関西のことば、「ド級戦艦」の「ド（弩）」はドレッドノート号のことですが、「ドM」の「ド」の語源意識に両方が混ざっている（使う人によっては）ということはありえますね。語源は必ずしも単一でなく、「Aという語源にBの意識も加わって」みたいなことはあります。
