Accessing: Imperial Army Soldiers
The Imperial Army is the largest on the continent. Armed with the cutting edge in weapons, vehicles and body armor, many are right to fear the Imperial Army's true might if it were ever to awaken.
Most of the soldiers who join the army are drafted from the Spire Cities deep in the Empire. Said soldiers are usually pulled from the slums and brought into the standard Infantry, while the upper class are made officers. Said process of selecting officers has no need for quality control as usually the men under the officers will decide if they approve of him/her or not. If not, they return home in a box. Majority of the Empire's armies are "conscripts" drawn up like old fashioned militia's having only to serve 4 years before returning home, though they may choose to stay on longer to make a career out of the military.
Upon joining the Imperial Infantry all soldiers start out as standard infantry. From there the path they decide upon is laid out in various directions. We will assume that said soldiers are going to join the army as a career.
Upon completing his 4 year service a soldier may choose three paths. He may stay in the basic infantry and become known as a "Veteran" allowing him to reach higher ranks and gain access to special weapons not allowed to basic soldiers.
He may choose to join the Specialist Infantry and be sent into the Mechanized, Armored, or Ranger Corps. However if he chooses to do so, he must repeat another 4 year service before he becomes a Specialist Veteran.
The final path available lets the soldier become a "Havoc Marine." The Havoc Marines are essentially a policing force that patrols the borders or lands of the other nations. These marines are typically assigned to the Hybrid Training Camps, or Fortresses to oversee the Hybrid Mercenaries in the name of the Empire.
