It's possible that I've dropped weight. More than I realized. But that's a good thing. I had plateaued and just wasn't moving anywhere. Sitting here in the new setup at my nail salon, I looked at myself in the mirror and for the first time in 20 years, I wasn't looking at upper arm bulges or big tummy rolls...which had been diminishing, for sure, but were still there. And, while I'm at a weight I literally haven't seen since my early 20s, my statistical BMI calculation still is 2.6 points from being considered "normal" according to the WHO. According to the new Smart BMI (SBMI) though, I am perfectly within the middle of normal, because it takes age into consideration as well, instead of throwing everyone across the board into one category. So you see, all those numbers are just that. Numbers. I know extremely healthy people with body fat less than 4%, but because they're so muscular, their BMI states that they're overweight, even obese. It's really more about how you feel, how your clothes fit, how you look - instead of what numbers on a machine or that have been algorithmically calculated according to somebody else's interpretation say. Be the best you that you can be! 43 is "shaping up" to end on a fantastic note for me and that's all I can ask. Did you see what I did there?
