I wish I seen more black men embraced their natural hairlines. We need to relearn what it means to love ourselves naturally without living by societal standards. We've been conditioned to think that our hair is a mess without a shape up which simply isn't true! It's beautiful in it's natural state as well!

I had a lot hair years ago I didn't worry about shape ups at all (first pic). Then this year I decided to go blonde and get a fade (second pic), but I got tired of my blonde and I ended up cutting it off myself. I didn't want to go to a barber bc covid, but then I thought to myself..... Why do I even need to? I cut it and I felt like I looked great the way I am! It hasn't be that long, but I'm glad I'm coming to this realization.

There's barely anything out there about natural black men hairlines, I was so curious on why we're so fixated on our hairlines and couldn't find much of anything until I stubbled across these gems! :
