Okay, f1 fans come after me. It’s okay. But when Kyle Larson said he was a better “all around driver”, i wholeheartedly agree. Yes, Max does his sim racing. But it will NEVER be the same as getting into a 410 sprint car, a wingless sprint car, a late model, or a nascar cup car. Kyle has gone out and raced anything and everything he possibly can.
Let’s have them settle this on the track, put them in EQUAL go karts and let them go at it. Better yet, put them in 1999 Honda Civics and let them race down I-95.
Moral of this story, I will defend Kyle Larson until the day I die.
LASTLY, nascar races roughly 42 times a year. The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars race roughly 82 times a year. The 42 plus the 28 dirt track races he does a year, so that is 70 time a year (give or take ten races) this man is behind the wheel of some kind of race car. (For reference, nascar races are between 200-400 laps a race. Dirt track races (410 sprint cars) can have 20-50 lap feature races. While, f1 races 22 times a year, granted they do travel all over the world. But in this instance, Kyle Larson is a better over all driver.
Look up Kyle Larson nascar or Kyle Larson dirt racing on YouTube. I would love to see Max try and get in a sprint car.
In conclusion, Welcome to the Kyle Larson Show

Report - first week of 4-10s
As of this writing, I have had my schedule switched to four 10 hour days for several months. I took notes during my first week to share with y’all, about how that transition was.
I had phone screenshots proving I was to work before 7 AM each day, but it’s been long enough that I removed them from my phone. They may be on my PC hard drive, and if so, I will move them here.
How I slept the night before. The schedule demands that I go to bed at 9:00 PM, significantly earlier than my usual.
Monday: I went to sleep before 9:30, and there was no battle getting there. Slept through the night.
Tuesday: I slept very fitfully, and my night was invaded by all manner of nightmares. The bed was in tangles.
Wednesday: Knocked out as soon as my head hit the pillow.
Thursday: Oh shit, can I sleep? (the answer: with melatonin, all things are possible). Better living through modern medicine!
Upon waking up when my fancy-dancy alarm starts making the noise of two squirrels fighting in a bucket.

Song that drove me to work each day because it’s probably important to know what the day sounds like.
Monday: car noise sounds. I was so focused on getting to work I neglected the aux.
Tuesday: I Can’t Decide by the Scissor Sisters
Wednesday: Luna y Sol by Manu Chao
Thursday TWOFER Pirate Jet by Gorillaz and Good Shot/ Good Solider by Everything Everything
Morning commute to work. I sincerely wanted to get pics for y’all but it just isn’t safe to do while I’m driving.
Monday: It was dark all the way to work, and very little traffic. Reminded me of getting up early for road trips or flights. A lot of walkers out despite the dark, and two of them – wearing dark clothing with no reflectors – walked in front of my car while I was doing highway speeds. It was concerning, but I was still sleepy enough to not have a full startle response. Really quite foggy.
Tuesday: A little bit lighter, and when I crested the first bridge into Eureka, I was nearly above the fog layer and could see the sky beginning to lighten pink directly over the Eastern hills.
Wednesday: Clear and so lovely! The sun was still below the horizon, but the sky was beginning to light up and the king tide was that silvery magic that looks like it ought to be painted. Nothing strange excepting red lights.
Thursday: Best for last? The sky was the perfect gradient of baby blue to deep, moon and stars still somewhat in the sky, the few wispy clouds were orange and grey, hills inky black… it was lovely. And a moron with his brights on behind me most of the way.
