My absolutely favorite Ferrari… started as a 365, became a 400, ended as a 412… (1976-1989, about the time frame as the BMW E24 6-series).
Note the complete lack of any body seams/cut lines from front fender, to rocker, to rear fender, and back around the roof to the front of the car. All seams filled in. Like a Rolls-Royce or Aston Martin.
Ferrari 412i, launched in 1976 as a 365 GT4 2+2, progressed to the 400 and 400i, ending production in 1989.
The 412i had ABS, self-levelling rear suspension, and slightly raised rear deck.
