overall; nari has a very strained relationship with bc ent. it started as a trainee, got worse when she debuted and finally plummed after her panic attack on stage. all in all, she often wonders what her life would be like if she left bc but doesn’t see it happening. ( they could ruin her career ) that being said, she does have some close bonds in the company, aside from her members.
cho inyoung; someone nari didn’t have contact with until her panic attack during likey era. an intern for the company in the pr department. there were a series of conversation that she had to have with the company and inyoung was around for some. when it came to her going back to promoting, it was only inyoung who tried to speak out and convince them to let her rest for a while longer. ( it could’ve costed her, her job but it was a warm feeling for nari. ) in the end, she went back to promoting but inyoung was someone she is still close too and they do hang out often. inyoung made her feel like someone cared when she knew that the company mostly didn’t.
haseul; bc’s one stop shop. nari is pretty sure the woman focuses in dance but she has other skills as well. mainly seeing as rina worked with her to work on her vocals / rapping and she’s always teased when it comes to her dancing. not that she’s horrible but she is one of the member’s who take the longest to learn their dances. ( which also leads into teasing nari because of this. ) but they have a very good relationship. if inyoung was like the older sister she never had, then haseul is like a mom. when the topic of plastic surgery comes up, haseul shuts it down. ( it doesn’t matter if it’s coming from the company or nari’s own mouth. ) she also helped nari lose weight when the company pushed for it, they wanted fast results but haseul made sure she lost it in a gradual way and often gets on her back because of her habit of not eating proper meals. in another life, nari wonders what it would’ve been like to be born as haseul’s daughter.
coach im; one of nari’s favorite people in the company. simply because he took her wanting to act serious. aside from her acting classes outside the company, he also helped her inside the company and helped her stay focused on developing her skills. even in the roles she’s managed to have so far, if she needs help with something, he’s the first person she goes to.
overall; jiyoo has a pretty good relationship with gold star. sure, she does have her slight problems with some of the way things are run but they're problems that anyone could have with any company. while she does wish that the company would support her more in her solo ventures, it's also something she has to want. and jiyoo could say that she gets along with everyone, she's pretty friendly but there are a few stand-outs in the company.
manager; aria's current manager and one of the best people earth. since her debut, there wasn't a time she didn't feel supported by her manager at the very least. and seeing as this was someone she spent several years with, it's hard to image any type of life were her manager wasn't in it.
ms hwang; one of her jynx's favorite people at gold star. an older lady who works in the cafeteria of the company. she wasn't in the company when jiyoo first started as a trainee and came on around the time of aria's debut. and the older woman quickly learned that jiyoo had an endless stomach. after that, the woman quickly learned that jiyoo could eat for days and they developed a very friendly relationship. ( also giving her extra servings. )
hyunsoo; kang hyunsoo, her vocal coach and someone who would very much consider her a pest. ( in a loving way. ) he's probably the person that pushes her most in singing and in life in general. he's been at the company since jiyoo became a trainee and he quickly became like an older brother to her. in her early debut years, he pushed her to really work on her vocals and become more than just another okay singer since aria's concept wouldn't focus on her dance skills. his advice is something she values. ( but she loves to annoy him more. )
coach kim; someone she really got to know a year or so after being in gold star. she didn't have many classes with the other woman until one of the dance trainers left the company. there, she started to get to know coach kim a little more and they developed a fun relationship. ( mainly because coach kim wondered how she was a good dancer with how clumsy she was. ) but the woman saw her skill and respected it. funny enough, when the idea of aria was being tossed around, coach kim told her to really think about it. she felt like jiyoo's skills would be better suited for a group that would focus on dancing and too wait. still, she supported jiyoo when it was clear she would debut and skill makes sure her skills were kept sharp.
