There's something here about names that I'm not quite sure how to break down, but there's definitely a thing going on with the OIAR, Elric Capital, and the Externals. It's the way Elric calls its people Teeth and Inside Out, stripping them of all identity except that of the way they frighten people. It's the way Gwen keeps insisting on asking for Grace, even though that's a name that's been long left behind. It's the way Adam and Ink5oul have chosen names for themselves to define their own relationship with humanity, or outside of it. I wouldn't even go so far as to call it a major theme or motif yet, but it is... something.
