did any other only children have to argue their parents into acknowledging their feelings? like. having to construct this big, academic sounding argument and defend it to the death or else you will never be heard? I think the first time I ever just sat down and said how i felt I was 16, and my mom had been really hurtful and I said “you hurt my feelings”. and it sounded so pathetic. but, it was all I had. I’m so tired of fighting tbh.
