who do you think is/ are the most overrated artist/ band?

Queen by far. They have some really excellent songs but their discography outside of said songs is like..... not interesting at all. Ik that someone’s gonna be like “oh but you’re a beatles/pink floyd fan they’re overhyped to shit!!” at me but like. shut up. they deserve at least some of the hype IMO 

also bohemian rhapsody was terrible and stole the editing oscar from the favourite but i digress 

what artist did you try to like because you thought they were “cool”, but just couldn’t get into?

brockhampton. Also kind of The Shaggs too because I like terrible experimental music but jesus christ I can’t even listen to it ironically

Does a physical copy of burrs original journal still exist somewhere, like a museum or a library or something?

hmm..not that i know of? i feel like someone has to have something somewhere, like in a trunk in their attic, but my inclination is towards no. matthew davis burnt like.......a lot of burr’s papers and odds are he thought the original journals were too risque to keep around. so they were transcribed into something more manageable. of course, burr also could have done away with them himself after he realized he’d never get to give them to theo. but yeah. i think if the originals were around somewhere, they’d have turned up? not sure though.
