uhh weirdly specific question but you know that 4bang! 2016 a-nation performance? does a transcript or subbed version of the talk parts of it exist? there's an unsubbed version on yt but i don't speak japanese... and I'm curious about what they were saying (and don't trust the ot5-biased comments to be paraphrasing it correctly)
IIRC they spent most of the MC portion badmouthing and talking shit about Seungri since he wasn't there, gleefully drawing attention to the fact of being 4 that day and rubbing it in, that sort of thing. They gave fans the chance to show him some love by screaming his name, and when that apparently didn't go so well Daesung commented, "Yeah, well, he's not a guy who appeals to everybody." Burn, baby, burn 🔥 After the festival GD posted on Instagram with the caption (in Japanese), "4BANG is good, yeah?"
I'm having a hard time finding an English-subbed version of the video. BBVIPChannel, which disappeared years ago and lost most of their old archived subbed videos as a result, has reuploaded past performances of BIGBANG at A-Nation... but conspicuously missing is the the 2016 recording featuring 4 members. No surprise there. The BBVIPChannel account is run by OT5s.
That being said, if you Google BIGBANG A-Nation 2016 you can find old anecdotes about the performance scattered around the web. These will give you a clearer picture of what was said back then than the crackpot OT5-colored cries you'll find filling the comment sections of such videos nowadays in loud opposition to BIGBANG’s new and improved permanent state as 4.
