Walmart only pays the minimum!
Rent and other monthly expenses couldn’t be covered from what I earned at Walmart. Not to mention that overtime hours where often replaced with comp time or no time at all. (I remember co-workers beinging told after sacrificing hours to help Walmart to “Take a 2-hour or 4-hour lunch break.” Who has that kind of time to waste or overtime to loose? It was disgusting.) And if I did get overtime by working as the only associate in my department, I was reprimanded.
