I was just wondering what you think a galleon would be in our money? I’ve had a little look online but I can’t really get a clear answer but from the looks of it most people agree on 1 galleon = £5 so I was just wondering if you imagined it any differently?

Yes I imagine a galleon to be higher than that because then if it was only 5 pounds, knuts would be like 0.006 pence and I just cant imagine anyone even with magicked pockets hauling around that many coins. Plus the prices would be insane at that low. Like four pounds for an ounce of dragon liver considering dragons aren't exactly a common creature? That seems super low to me. 0.006 pence for a newspaper? Even magicked copies thats kinda wild. I know most people go off of what the original fantastic beasts and quidditch books sold for but I personally dont. Its just far far too low.
