#4YearsWithLadies’Code

Oh my gosh, time has flown by. It seems like just yesterday that Bad Girl came out and I cried my first time watching it because I was so excited for my ladies. These ladies have changed my entire life, and it makes me so upset that they’re so underrated, but we won’t talk about that right now. Today, I will talk about just how proud I am of every single one of these girls with open letters to them.

To Ashley: The lovely Global Code, I am so happy to see what you’re doing outside of the group. I get so excited when you update on Instagram and I look forward to the latest episode of Stylecast and the K-Poppin’ radio. Your strength and beauty is admirable, and your ability to take care of the girls is something truly remarkable. Thank you for being the wonderful leader to the group I love most. I love you! ♥

To Sojung: Oh my gosh, the lovely Funky Code, you have become the voice of the group. You give us strength, and you told us to not look at you with sadness, but to listen to you and be happy. Sojung, I am happy. I am happy to hear you girls sing. Your voice has gotten so much stronger in these past few years, and your performance on King of Mask Singer was so powerful, it brought us all to tears. Thank you for empowering us and encouraging us to be strong. I’m so glad you’re still here with us. I love you! ♥

To Zuny: Ah yes, the precious maknae Pretty Chic code, my my have you grown up tremendously. Your look is still babyish, but it has a sort of adultness to it now too. Your voice has also gotten stronger, and I love hearing it. Through all of the hard times, you have stayed so strong, and you have made everyone so happy. Zuny, I know you hope to make your unnies proud. EunB and RiSe are looking down at you and smiling, and I know they are incredibly proud of how far you’ve come and how far you will go. Thank you for being the greatest maknae around. I love you! ♥

To EunB†: I miss you so much every day. EunB, the Lovely Code, you really live up to the name Eunbitamin, regardless of whether you like vitamins or not aha. You gave the group as well as your Lavelys strength and empowerment. The way the girls could rely on you for anything was amazing, and the way your humour lit up everyone’s world is something to be cherished. You’re not here anymore, and I miss you every day, but I won’t be sad anymore. You’re with RiSe, your best friend, and you are both very happy in Heaven together. Every day I wish you never left us, but knowing you’re happy is what pushes me to be strong every day. I wish I could see your smiling face one last time, but that won’t be for a long time. Ashley, Zuny, and Sojung are working hard every day to make you and RiSe proud, so I hope you’re happy for them. You may not be here anymore, but you will always be here in our hearts. EunB, thank you for being my number one bias forever, and thank you for all that you gave me and the other Lavelys in your time here. I love you! ♥

To RiSe†: To the beautiful Pure Code, I miss you tremendously so. You and EunB were taken from us too early, and it isn’t fair, but I won’t be sad anymore. When somebody asked you who you would never want to leave alone, you answered “EunBi!” Well, you didn’t leave her alone. You were in a tragic battle in which you fought so hard for four days before God decided to let you rest. Now you and EunB can be together forever and play air pingpong together at any time hehe. I can’t believe it’s been almost three years since you left us, but none of that time was wasted. In that time, you two lovingly watched over Ashley, Sojung, and Zuny, and have watched them grow from the experience. I hope you’re proud of all that they’ve done and all that they will do. You will be in our hearts forever, and you will always be a part of Ladies’ Code. RiSe, thank you for being the sunshine in our lives, and for taking care of EunB both on earth and in Heaven. I love you! ♥

I told myself I wouldn’t cry, but I can’t help it. You five ladies mean the absolute world to me, and your music and personal strength has helped me in so many ways. I’m so proud of each and every one of you for all that you’ve done, and I hope I can see you through many more years. I am so proud to be a Lavely, and I’m so happy that we’ve made it this far together. Let’s stay together forever, okay?
