If you're into astrology, Hudson entered his 2nd house year in February which is ruled by his Scorpio Moon in the VI (6th). Themes of self-worth, finances and stability are huge and are deeply emotional/sensitive. This is why in so many readings you'll notice that Hudson is worried about (job) security and safety. And to relate this to his relationships, this is why he is so reluctant to cut ties (even if it would be better for him in the long run).
This is a year filled with passion, trauma, controversies, stress and deep transformation. Nothing will be consistent, there will be so many fluctuations in his relationship to the material world and his work(place). But his North Node is located in the 2nd house (Cancer) which tells me that he'll be figuring out that he craves a soft life with emotional fulfillment rather than being solely concerned with who/what will look good for his image and his status. This isn't to say that Hudson is superficial, but incredibly scared of losing his value and ability to take care of people he loves.
This is why his relationship with Connor is so all-consuming. He gets to be with someone who takes good care of him and, who is by very nature, comfort without conditions.

The simple answer is Hudson.
As someone who dated a person with a Pluto in the VII (which is what Hudson has), I used to get told "I'm obsessed with you" and "I want to live in your skin" like it was I love you. People with this placement crave intense displays of devotion and have a spiritual (and anxious) desire to merge together because they don't want their person to go where they can't follow. Also paired with H's Scorpio Moon + Mars, this is someone who says "ride or die" and "till death do us part" and means it. Along with H's Venus and C's Aries Mars, these are all Mars ruled (with help from Pluto) so this can manifest physically as hickeys, bruises, bite marks and tattoos (haha).
But while I would argue that Hudson leads the charge on jealousy and codependency, Connor is possessive and can not share.
