The viewer is easily pulled in by the “explore your own route” feel of the blog, as it displays photos to titles that peek a viewers curiosity. You do not have to be an art lover, a sports fanatic, nor science major to be engaged in this blog. It offers a wide variety of topics that appeals many.

While this blog has not updated in many months, it was the center fold of delicious and delectably creative foods inspired by video games. Taking in audience suggestions, this blog cooked up some of the greatest virtual reality to real life food. Their blog is cute and clean with easy follow instructions and helpful “difficulty to make” rating system that warned what level of skill or patience the dish may require. They even showed side by side comparisons of the game to life final products of everything from drinks, meals, to desserts for the audiences enjoyment.

An art based blog of a favorite Artist of mine, Noelle. Her blog is simple and cute, full of her own works and responses of self made comics, jobs, and other ideas she has worked on. Her blogs charm comes from her sense of humor and a loose, all inclusive type of drawing style. Noelle puts pride into her blog and life and encourages others to do the same, making it a heart warming place to feast your eyes.

Its well written, well spaced articles are previewed in the main page with click-through to the main articles making navigation through it’s many delightfully nerdy topics of games, books, movies, television, comics, and more a breeze to sort through. Articles previews are also paired with a representational graphic image that a reader’s eye can easy jump to and pull them in. This blogs strengths lie in its well prompt nature on keeping the world up to date with geek and sundry.

Another dearly beloved artist blog, yet one that holds a purpose all its own. Enenkaydoodles is more of a promotional page set to display, boost, and compile the work of an artist named Taylor. It’s main function is to inform fans on page by page updates of the artists on-going web-comic called “Monster Kind”. The blog displays cute designs, colors, and related works that not only show their ability, but delight the eyes of the viewer.

In all, these blogs point together in some directions. Simplicity before eccentricity, a lure or hook that provokes curiosity, good visuals, and well geared information towards their intended audience. These are the main great strategies, planned or not, that thrive in the exampled blogs and that I intend to be inspired by.
