A photo of the 5-masted barque København (= Copenhagen) moored at the quays of Buenos Aires May - June 1928. It was her 9th and second last voyage. Later that year she departed from Montevideo December 14th (1928) for Australia - and disappeared with all 59 hands, somewhere in the South Pacific. Notice the metal discs on the moorings to stop rats from entering the ship. Found at http://billedarkiv.mfs.dk/ 000027370.jpg

Another shot (1921) of the Danish training ship København (= Copenhagen), that mysteriously disappeared without a trace on a journey from South America to Australia. 

She’s travelling on a calm sea with all her staysails set.
