I'm wondering if you or any followers can help - I saw a beautiful ship docked in Reykjavik in the summer of 2024. I wanna say 3 masts if memory serves.
Unfortunately I don't remember her name, although I seem to recall that it was a German sounding name, and there was a number after it (III, I believe). You wouldn't happen to know who she was or a good way to find out?
Hello, friend! Did it happen to be the Gorch Fock II?
Another ship it could have been is the Alexander von Humboldt II, but I think you’d remember if it was her.
Unfortunately, German tall ships aren’t my area of expertise, but I do know someone who might know more— @ ltwilliammowett, are there any other German ships or ships with German names that might match @major-knighton’s description?
Thank you so much for your ask! It’s an honor to be here for your maritime needs.
