It's been a long weekend. I know I need sleep because my brain is spent, but if I try to, I'll just have the same thoughts swirling around and around.
"I want exactly what we have now, just more of it."
This thought occured to me once I'd gotten home from my weekend-long date with Trevor. I don't even know where to begin with all of it. But I should preface that it was Good™.
He got in Thursday afternoon and waited for me at the Greenbelt, a path along a series of short, man-made waterfalls in the midst of downtown. I quickly hurried to him after work and found him sitting by the river. As soon as I could reach him, I was wrapped up in his arms. My heart was racing as I breathed him in. We kissed right there by the falls. I couldn't get enough of him.
We eventually disentangled and discussed food options. He gripped my hand in his while we walked a short bit. I couldn't stop grinning.
After having some wonderful Thai at my favorite spot, we found a stretch of the river outside of town to go park at. We settled in a secluded area overlooking the water and opened the windows in preparation for smoking a bowl. I love that he has a mattress in his Expedition; it makes for easy snuggling. For a while, we just snuggled, talked, listened to each other breathe.
Breaking the silence, he said, "I think I love you."
I didn't respond immediately, so he followed up with, "Is that okay?"
I swallowed and told him, "I think I love you too."
It didn't take us long before we began to make love, multiple times, as the sun sank down river.
Our time together followed a similar pattern. Smoke, eat, cuddle, fuck, cuddle, smoke, eat, sleep. There were a few showers and a jaunt to another part of the river thrown in for good measure. I was fortunate enough to be able to get us a hotel room for 2 nights.
Today was filled with lots of mutual "I love you"s and outright sobbing on my part. I couldn't stand to let him go. He held me close and softly told me that I'm a Good Girl, he's going to see me again, and that everything is gonna be okay. (Even now while I write, the memory makes me cry.)
I honestly couldn't tell you the last time someone held me like that while I sobbed uncontrollably. He petted my hair while I ruined his shirt. So gentle and caring.
I gotta stop here before I ramble on, continuing to cry, and give myself a migraine.
