Due to some unfortunate circumstances, we had to change plans.  However, changed plans sometimes lead to greater ideas.  We thought we would give you a little inside look as to how our ideas start to form and become what they are when you see everything after the shoot.

(now keep in mind a bunch of creative people coming up with one idea is quite a process!)

We play with words. We needed to find words to CONVEY our idea to you visually.  That is difficult.  If you haven’t noticed through our boutique styling: I love words.  Alluring, powerful, flowers, history, woman, captivating, strong, model, glamour….. goddess.

There it was: our word.  Believe it or not we started to build our theme from here.

Location makes everything possible!  The luxury farm location of M&D Farms is perfect.  Their rolling fields and textures farm niches, give way to one of the most beautiful niches of property in upstate NY. IMAGINE YOURSELF HERE!

It’s time for people to show off what they are made of in the floral industry.  Between flower crown and fascinating hair we started perusing for ideas.   Here is one of our color palettes.

Here is some inspiration as we choose our planning boards. We are looking for a handful of teen girls to make this imagery happen.

January 2017 has started out in lovely style! I love winter engagement shoots. It gives a very cool feel and look to images, but then again Christian and Keziah are pretty cool themselves.

I am not sure I have so much with people that I have just met, but this photo shoot was nothing short of a blast to do with this amazing couple.  What a wedding this will be!!!

Kathryn and Adam found warmth and forever on the first really cold day of the year in October.  Despite the rain, wind and chilly air Kathryn and Adam had so many sweet moments to warm them right to their toes.

It was a day of sweetness and laughter and an awesome bridal party who grabbed umbrellas and smiles and made sure their friends had the best day ever.

Before the snowflakes flew this weekend, Alexandra and Ron stole one of the last beautiful days of fall for their engagement shoot with us!

Downtown Troy is the perfect backdrop for this fun loving couple and I am really excited for their wedding next year.  It’s an absolute blast being able to have these moments with couples before their big day.
