Die 52 8160-5 “Eureka” ist seit 2015 in der Aufbereitung. Sie soll wieder betriebsfähig gemacht werden, und dann die schwedische SJ 1040 E² als Hauptlok der ZLSM Simpelveld ablösen, welche dann in die Revision gehen kann. Diese Bilder zeigen die Fortschritte in der Werkstatt in Simpelveld. Ein gigantisches technisches Puzzle, welches Teil für Teil mit technischen Sachverstand und Liebe fürs Detail hergerichtet wird. The 52 8160-5 “Eureka” has been in remanufacturing since 2015. It will be made operational again and then replace the Swedish SJ 1040 E² as the main locomotive of the ZLSM Simpelveld, which can then go into revision. These pictures show the progress made in the workshop in Simpelveld. A gigantic technical puzzle, which is prepared piece by piece with technical expertise and love for detail.
