W E E K 2
This was the last week of calm before all the students come back. My 52frames.com assignment was shooting in black and white (although I didn’t stick with the project 100%). The cold made me less than eager to walk around with my camera, but I did venture out one day with Amanda, who is always a good sport about posing and tolerating my crazy photo projects.
W E E K 1
It was the first week back to work after the holidays and also the first snowfall of the year. Unfortunately, the temp also dropped to about 10 degrees. I went for a walk on campus and was so cold I couldn’t feel my fingers on the camera. And so I ended up with two speedy campus shots.
A few days later, inspired by this week’s 52frames.com theme, I experimented with fast shutter speed. Somehow I couldn’t find a model willing to let me throw a glass of water in his face, so instead I shot the running tap.
‘Tis not the most auspicious start to my photo project, but I remain undaunted!
52 Weeks of Photos
This year I’m kicking off a 52-week photo project. Having done a daily photo project in the past, I’m ready for something with a bit less pressure. Some of my inspiration will come from 52frames.com, but the only “rule” I’m going to follow is to post whatever random assortment of photos I’ve taken during the week.
