While I am always up for a spontaneous adventure, one of the things I’ve loved about having my own place is coming up with routines that I love. Sunday’s are my story-telling days. I usually get up, put on some swoon worthy music (ie - My beloved Frank Sinatra), make a big breakfast, brew the maximum amount of coffee my pot will allow, and spend my day wrapped up in stories. That could mean laying in bed and finishing whatever book I’m reading at the moment, bingeing all the Harry Potter movies, or even heading to the movie theater for whatever new blockbuster has caught my attention. . I have loved getting caught up in stories my entire life and I’m grateful that I have been able to create a day to immerse myself in them while being whisked away to Middle Earth or Narnia for the 463626273th time. . I also recently added a new aspect to my Sunday routine when I began filling out a weekly list from the #52ListsOfHappiness book! Last week was about acknowledging what makes you happy, and this week is about making a list of your daily and weekly routines. You’re supposed to make a list and mark the ones that bring you the most joy, then focus on why those routines make you happy and how you might be able to incorporate that into other aspects of your life. . I loved taking a moment after breakfast and making my list, making sure to mark my Sunday story-telling days as the routine that brings me the most joy. . I’d love to know what are some of the daily/weekly routines you love, in the comments below👇🏻❤️ . . Also, I may have fallen asleep last night dreaming about this breakfast 😍🍳🍞🍅🥑☕️ (at Helena, Montana)
