I came down with food poisoning over the weekend unfortunately. It gave me a lot of time to hang around the house and think about what’s really important in life. 60 Minutes had a feature about a photographer who documents animals in the wild, his photographs left me breathless. He mentioned that hunters can’t wait for #bear #season to be brought back so gorgeous bears can be murdered in their habitat. I was finally feeling better but became nauseous after hearing that. This morning I read that deaths of unarmed African-Americans have dropped precipitously. Why are we still having this conversation? My beloved Marvin Gaye was talking about this 40 years ago and nothing has changed.
