I have had the great pleasure of hearing Hugh Panaro sing “Music of the Night” many times on Broadway, in the immersive show, “Masquerade,” and in concert.

Last night’s "Music of the Night" at 54 Below may have immediately risen to the top of my favorites list.  À la “Masquerade,” he sang this while moving around the audience, singing to individual people.  He stopped to sing “softly, deftly, music shall caress you. . .” to me—lucky for me I was seated just off the back aisle.  Plus, his singing was gorgeous, not to mention the vocal flourish on the final “music of the night.” 

He was also so gracious meeting us after the show.
