I spent waaaay too long on this. For a first attempt at teaching myself CSP's animation function, it's not horrible, but I'll definitely never use CSP for animation again O_O this literally has 533 layers. Now I'm done I can finally get back to posting more regularly! Enjoy my weird little animatic.

An actual conversation I had with my friend

Me: So if every character in Avenue Q has a Sesame Street counterpart, who’s Lucy? Which of the puppets has titties?

My friend: Well Snuffalufagus may not have titties, but he does have big titty energy.

Okay, I just want to take a second to talk about the character Rod from the musical Avenue Q. He had the BIGGEST character development in the whole show and it's just so WHOLESOME...

Here are some quotes to show his development over the show:

"I'm NOT getting defensive! What do I care about some gay guy you met, okay? I'm trying to read."

Context: Rods roommate Nicky is showing support of homosexuality in an attempt to encourage Rod to come out. Rod dislikes this.

"Well... I have this friend... And I think he has a very big problem. I think he's... gay."

Context: Rod seeks advice from his neighbour, Christmas Eve, who is a therapist.

"Oh Nicholas! Have you been shy all this time? Have we been hiding from each other? I wonder..."

Context: Rod dreams that his roommate, Nicky, has feelings for him.

"Gee, they're so lucky to have each other!"

Context: Rod becomes angry at Nicky when attending a neighbours wedding because he is jealous.

"My wonderful girlfriend! Yes, I have a girlfriend, who lives in Canada!!"

Context: Rod tries to convince his entire friend group that he isnt gay after Nicky revealed his suspicions.

"Why don't I have someone by my side who makes me feel special and safe? Someone who... loves me the way I love them..."

Context: Rod talks to Christmas Eve about how he is uncomfortable in the closet and feels lonley.

"I, Rod, am gay. SURPRISE!"

Context: Rod comes out to his friend group.

"Oh sweet suffering Jesus...Nicky! And Ricky!"

Context: after coming out, Nicky surprises Rod with a boyfriend who is almost identical to Nicky called Ricky.

Overall, Rod is an amazing character and I love him.
