ACTIVITY SEVEN: IN-PERSON VISIT
she had a few minutes of being herself before the camera's rolled.
it wasn't for a lack of trying but people were busy and kami wanted to get her visit out of the way. that's how she found herself at the lynk experience, giving a passing bow to one or two staff members that she recognized. the moment she stepped into the exhibit, a camera was rolling and she knew it was time to switch into her idol persona. "i remember working on everything for this so i hope the fans will enjoy it." her gaze settled on the camera for a second before she started to walk down the hall. "we'll do the artist profiles first…" the words were mumbled to herself but she was sure the camera captured it.
she was sure it would catch everything, the way she spun around the waiting era to give a quick look at all of the profiles. "everyone looks so nice…" she trailed off, walking around until she found her own profile. at this, kyunghee waved the camera-man over to make sure they got a good close up, "i was super nervous while writing my profile, it's easy to talk about yourself but then i had to do it in public points…then it felt like a struggle but i think it worked out in the end." a shrug is offered, a slightly embarrassing smile but she pressed on. this time pointing out of a few that included idols that kami could call a friend.
she lingered for a bit before making it to the lynklist, "this was a hard to complete but i'll show you my list first." again, she had the camera focus in and kami also rambled off a few extra tidbits about the songs she selected. in the end, she was sure that whatever was used for her would be chopped down to under a minute but it didn't hurt to give content.
"who's music taste is just like mines…" eventually, the idea was abandoned as she went around in favor to see who selected songs from her group and which ones they chose. an activity that could've taken longer but she was given a signal to move on. honestly, she didn't see an issue with lingering. they didn't have many other idols here at the moment but maybe the staff member was busy.
for the mix and match, she didn't take the survey but kami's eyes sparkled a little as she address the camera directly. "if anyone matches with me, take a screen shot and upload it, i'll be on the look out to see who's like me the most." the next stop was the memory wall and here kami took her time. some memories overlapped, it was fun to mentally guess what would've been happening by the experience.
kyunghee took a little extra time to stare at her own photos. each had been carefully selected, each memory was something fresh she planned on giving to the world. but the trip down memory lane was the last thing and kami was ready to slid out when the staff reminded her to sign the wall across from them. she chose a clean spot, something the corner.
she did it with a little extra flourish for the camera before giving a smile and wave goodbye.
