#5988 Brasserie Générale Calculon (Canada) This bad boy has been super hyped for me for a while, so I’ve been excited af to try it. Coming in at 6.3%, this is one of their 7th anniversary beers, a blend brewed with blending stock and Berliner Weisse aged in gin barrels. It’s somewhat like a lambic or gueuze. It pours opaque with a foamy head and a lemony nose, it’s chewy and tart, there’s some green apple but no vinegar notes, it’s a touch salty and floral, herbaceous, complex, the gin notes are balanced and restrained, with a citrusy finish.
