Was it luck? Or trust? I don’t think so. Me too.
Ahead of everyone else was my way. Way of what? Life. I didn’t want to be the best or better than anyone else. I wanted to be free. Life gives you reason to choose your feelings. Name it; sad, happy, hurt, depressed.
I know how it feels. Been there too.
Yoonji, she’s a perfectionist. Not really. Clumsy at times. Born in the year of her favorite number, 88. Stayed in many places. Been to so much areas. Meet new people. Yeah, that’s her. The one who wants to enjoy her freedom.
California was her stand. She stopped in doing what she wanted to do, not her dream. She moved to Korea for the sake of pursuing her long term status and career. Becoming a singer was want she wanted. Nevertheless, remembering that moment where first tears in DSP Media. Yoonji laughed. Yeah that.. Embarrassing. That was the time when she received the answer from the CEO there about her being able to be a trainee in DSP Media. She was told that her amazing dance skill hypnotized the judges, her capability in communicating, oh thanks to my bachelor’s in communication in Cali and her singing. Trainee years was the best for her. Never did it disappoint her. Every single day since the day she got accepted, she always have a purpose in being excited and looking forward for something. No, training wasn’t hard but tough for her. Though she still try to stand it and be patience.
Yoonji moved in with her mother in the early 2007. It was thus far the start of her new beginning. Challenges to partake. She knew that every single thing didn’t come for free. What more than money? Money is equal to your hard work in a music industry. You put in effort people will like you and that’s if only you’re unique in it. Choices you make in life while setting a new journey is to face everything in a different way. Up to you though.
Yoonji laughed. Remembered the little bits of being happy when she got in the music industry. Now she’s a solo artist under JTM Ent, there’s nothing she could ask for more. All she need is some happy and beautiful people to say by her side. Yoonji took a stand from the couch as she carefully listened to the producer’s words. She entered the recording room, coughing. She took a deep breathe.
