It’s just really awkward and uncomfortable when someone tries to be overly friendly sometimes and I imagine that Yusei is feeling that rather hard right now. Also it’s been pointed out to me that Yusei could be read as being autistic, and yeah I could definitely see that being true.
A Signer? Hunh, apparently these chosen ones are a big deal then if they’re all bowing so respectfully to him. What exactly are Signers chosen to do though?
Okay wait, so all of those other marks shown in the opening credits must be Signer marks as well. And I did notice that they all looked like the body parts of some creature. So they’re pieces of a dragon then? And there are 5 of them.
...Oh, dang, is that what the 5D’s stands for then? Five Dragons? Because both Yusei and Jack have dragons and they’re Signers, so that must mean that whoever the other Signers are they must have dragons in their decks as well.
Well, at least this explains more about why Condor Man has been telling Jack that he’s so special. He’s certainly got a vested interest in all this but there’s obviously things he’s still keeping secret as well.

Heh, well this old man has apparently been in and out of the system for a long time then if he’s experienced enough to know how to hide cards and smuggle them in. I wonder if the prisoners also use cards as currency with the guards here?
