i am a 22 year old student at an american university. i am an english major with a focus in victorian/romantic literature. that being said, i am currently working toward my masters in order to become an english professor. beyond my studies, i am a huge fan of artists like taylor swift, lana del rey, phoebe bridgers, harry styles, and practically any other artist you'd assume a basic bi b*tch would like (: (at least i am painfully socially aware). i enjoy expressing myself through painting and drawing, writing poetry and short stories, and getting lost in the pages of a good book, as well as the occasional ugly sob and screaming in my car - morticia. crocheting is my peaceful pastime and i am also in a sorority (ew ik). i have, oddly enough, been roleplaying since i was about 13 years old. that being said, i am a very experienced role-player/writer. it's actually one of the things that led me into my major. i kind of treat it as some really weird/insanely long novel, haha. now that you know a little more about me, let's move on to a few of my boundaries/what i am looking for in a writer. one : lines in this roleplay, write however long you would like! obviously, write enough to get the plot and information in--but it is up to you! that said, if we are doing doubles, the line amount should be the exact same. two : triggers while not everyone has specific triggers, it is crucial to recognize and respect the ones that do affect us. personally, I want to make it clear that I do not wish to engage in a roleplay that heavily focuses on negative mental health. topics like self-harm, suicide, or constant depression are not what I'm looking for in a roleplay, and are not what i feel is appropriate for a roleplay. i understand that for some, these themes may be a way to express their own mental health struggles, but please realize that it is not healthy to project those onto a partner who is not comfortable with that content. let's ensure our roleplay is enjoyable and respectful for both of us. three : activity in our roleplay, i expect a reasonable level of activity from my partners. you do not need to be available all day every day, but I do expect a response at least every other day. i will send a reminder after each 12-hour interval to help us stay on track. given that life can get busy, i feel that 48 hours should be ample time for a 5-line reply per character on a laptop or a 10-line reply on mobile. if you find it challenging to respond within this 48-hour window, it may not be practical to continue the roleplay, as consistent engagement is crucial for story and character development.

four : effort this is more so for doubles--but i want to be so incredibly clear about something: i absolutely despise when someone puts effort only into their side of the roleplay. there is nothing more frustrating than when my oc's love interest gets just a few subpar lines while your oc has the cutiest little sparkliest reply ever. if i am investing time and effort into developing your love interest, i expect the same level of commitment from you. i will give a heads-up if I notice this happening once, but if it becomes a recurring issue, i will be blocking you. i am relatively cool, calm and collected gal - but when it comes to unequal effort in our roleplay, she will not be tolerated. five : love interests when it comes to love interests/oc's in our roleplay, it is crucial to note that they should never be minors. i do not engage in roleplay with individuals under the legal adult age, so there is really no reason for your love interest to be underage. also, this is a personal preference, but i will not play a love interest or character opposite to one that is a cartoon, animal, hybrid, or really any supernatural being. while I enjoy a little twilight moment every now and then, i tend to keep my roleplays primarily grounded in realism. please understand it's just a matter of personal preference, and there is no judgment if you have a liking for cartoon or supernatural characters! six : communication you know that feeling when you're in a roleplay that is just dragging on, and you are stuck in boredom limbo, so you end up ghosting them because ew confrontation? because me too, or maybe you have been on the other end of it and was ghosted because you were not living up to what your partner wanted. that is why I can not stress enough how important it is for us to communicate. if something isn't working, let's talk about it. finding the story or characters boring? be like 'yea so this plot/character is the worst'. not feeling the love interest? shoot me a quick 'hey girly, he/she is a little sucky'. to make it easier, we can have a safe word, a way to give constructive criticism without anyone getting hurt, because, honestly, it's never personal, and we're here to have fun.

seven : boundaries building on the importance of communication, it is equally vital to establish and communicate our boundaries. if you are not comfortable with smut, let me know. if you prefer to keep the roleplay free of explicit language or cursing, that is important to express as well. and, if you have any triggers that need to be avoided, please make them clear so we can ensure a comfortable and enjoyable roleplay experience for both of us.

Been roleplaying for 14 years (wow i feel old)

I'm open to short, medium, or long replies! I tend to go for at least a paragraph or two depending on the plot/scenario! Sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. I tend to be descriptive, so I do look for that in replies. As long as we are giving each other equal attention and detail into the plot, I will be happy!

No one liners please - add depth and detail! It makes the process more fun and engaging for the both of us!

I am open to any plot. I primarily want romantic/fluff but I am ABSOLUTELY open to smut! I just don't want the entire plot to revolve around smut 24/7. I like slow burns, enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, AU 5sos/1D, famous, drama, etc. I'm open to almost anything!

I'm open to doing combined plots where you, me, and whoever we're portraying are all in the same "universe"/plot! I'm also open to doing separate plots, but we can figure out the details if you decide to rp with me!

I work full time and I am married (my husband knows I rp and he is a full supporter!) - so I am a bit busy. I may not be able to reply a lot every single day, but I do want to at LEAST give 1-3 replies a day. This may not always be possible though for a while until summer (not too much longer to wait now!) If you are unable to reply consistently, no stress! This is supposed to be fun, so as long as we are on a schedule with each other and communicate with each other, it's all good!

Probably the most important note: respectful communication is key. Want to change the plot? Let me know! Have triggers? PLEASE tell me! Need to switch who I am portraying based on your feels? I'll admit it's been QUITE a while but Ive been wanting to get back into writing for a little while now and I'm looking for people to write with.

I'm mainly looking for someone who would be willing to write as Harry Styles for me, or Tom Holland (news of a new spider-man movie has me so nostalgic for him) / one of the 5sos boys (Luke or Michael), and in return I'll write any of one direction or 5sos / other celebrities. Mainly looking for doubles to make it fair. (but if you just want to write as Harry/Tom/5sos that's great too of course!!)

I have a few plot ideas but I loveeee coming up with plots together! I write a fair amount. I'm in my quality over quantity era though, I like to add in details and build the world around the characters. I write a fair amount, at least a couple of paragraphs. I'm aiming for at least one reply a day but maybe some rapid fire, id love to do that, I'm just mindful of how badly I lose motivation and don't want to over promise! My main limits are things involved in the much darker plots, I'm more looking for a slice of life kind of vibe but I'm open to most ideas!!
