Just a little about me, I've been running a few 5sos blogs for a few years now and each one are for different things. My most populat blog and the one many of you probably know me from is @lashtons-littlethings so if you dont already follow it maybe go check it out? Im shit at posting on there tho due to the fact its a fanfic blog and im not motivated mainly due to depression. I ship malum and lashton...thats it...those are the only two...but i wont fight you on your ships im not that kind of person.
On this blog i will be posting a lot more than on my other im sure of it! I want this blog to be based mainly on what my followers want with a few of my own things thrown in there. Im sure you've assumed already i will be posting strictly 5sos fake text messages that will come from my very uncreative brain and my followers suggestions. I'd like to stick to the malum/lashton theme of my other blogs and have cute texts between those two ships but i will gladly make anything you suggest to the best of my ability.
To send in suggestions you can dm me or send me an ask and i will make your suggestion as soon as possible.
Thank you for following and i hope you enjoy whats yet to come!

Normally, students loved lunch. It was a time to hang out with their friends or finish the assignment they decided to save for last-minute, but (YN), well (YN) dreaded this hour.
Being semi-new at the high school really didn’t give her any advantages. She was such a quiet girl who never bothered to put herself out there especially since she was afraid that she would get judged by the 1600 students and teachers that attended the same school.
It was another day at lunch in the middle of autumn and (YN) found herself back at the same seat at the same table at the corner of the cafeteria... alone. But it was all good, she was used to it.
She often had the lunches her mom or dad had made the morning of, but today, she was forced to buy the artificially flavoured food that the school provided. Her parents had work earlier than usual and found no time to cook or make any food. The food was... good? Well it wasn’t bad; she would’ve chosen her parents’ meal any day...
(YN) was working on some worksheets her mathematics teacher handed out as practice in silence, well silent until someone abruptly pulled out a seat across from her.
She looked up to find a boy with golden curls and eyes, that could’ve been mistaken for honey, hiding behind glasses. He grinned at her and took out his own homemade lunch before eating it.
She didn’t say anything, and he seemed to not bother to say anything either. (YN) recognized the boy as Ashton Irwin. He was known for being great in music and arts, but he was not popular per-say. He wasn’t unpopular either... he was probably floating in the middle.
By the time (YN) finished her worksheet, she gathered her belongings and litter and left for her locker, giving Ashton a kind look before leaving.
She was undoubtedly confused. She always sat alone. No one bothered to even giver her a second ‘pity’ glance. What was that about? For the time being, she shrugged it off and continued about her day. Ashton won’t even sit with her again, right? It was just a one day thing.
Slumped in her usual spot, she shoved her earphones into her ears and turned the music up until she could handle it. She glanced around the room and scanned it, looking for Ashton.
He was out of sight. Of course he wouldn’t sit with her agai-
The chair was pulled out of it’s usual spot as a body plopped into it just like the day before. (YN) couldn’t even finish her train of thought. Ashton gave her the same dimple grin and pulled his lunch out of his paper bag that was labeled with his initials.
(YN) didn’t speak as a repeat of yesterday but this time purely out of confusion. She raised an eyebrow at him but he did not seem to notice the action, maybe because of the fact that he was so invested in his own lunch and music.
(YN) almost missed the warning bell which managed to sneak in during he dead silence between song changes. She looked up to find Ashton already gone as she got up to go to her locker.
Like a repeat of yesterday, she began to wonder why he sat with her once again. It ached (YN). She would speak up to ask him but she didn’t want to give him the thought that his actions were bad or she didn’t want to seem like she was giver herself self-pity. She was scared she’d come off as rude.
She groaned out loud, catching the attentions of many of the students in your English language arts.
“I beg your pardon? (YN)?” her teacher called out.
“I’m sorry, I - um - made another mistake with the assignment and I just wanted to do it better,” (YN) gave her a sheepish grin. The teacher narrowed her eyes at her and went back to marking papers.
Throughout the several following weeks, Ashton sat in the same spot. None of them said anything... just a few friendly glances here and there. As the time went, they didn’t care that no one was talking, they genuinely just felt comfortable with each other’s presence.
Ashton’s sunshine filled smile stuck to (YN)’s mind like it was pinned to her brain with a push pin. She was glad to see that same beautiful smile every single day. She’ll never admit it to him ever but his smile and beautiful eyes and his effort to sitting with her made her develop a little school girl crush on the musical nerd. She knew it wasn’t an all out ‘I really really really like him’ crush because they haven’t talked and gotten to know each other... yet.
After about a month and a half of sitting with Ashton without talking at all, (YN) decided to talk to him today, using the confidence she had built up all this time. ‘Asking him wouldn’t do anything bad, right? I mean it would just make sense to talk to him,’ (YN) thought. She huffed out a puff of exhausted breath and grabbed her lunch before heading to the cafeteria with internal smile.
She sat at the same spot as always and took out her lunch. She glanced around and anxiously waited. (YN) was nervous about the whole situation but she needed to this for her sake, and possibly Ashton’s sake.
It had been 15 minutes into the hour and Ashton hadn’t shown up as per usual. The hopes that he’d show up again basically slapped (YN) in the face when she realized he wasn’t going to show up at all.
She felt lonely once again since she had grown used to Ashton’s daily presence. He was a jerk for not coming... Maybe he was not there today? She wished. She saw him earlier in biology. ‘Way to think that you actually had a growing friendship with someone here,’ (YN) muttered under breath.
She instantly lost her appetite and rewrapped her sandwich. She left the cafeteria and went straight for her locker. (YN) wanted to take a walk around the school grounds in hopes to forget the situation.
She hadn't noticed that she was crying until she passed the bathroom. “Oh,” she laughed sadly and splashed some water onto her face.
She sniffled loudly and calmed down her slight hiccuping as she walked past a bunch of classrooms, the last one being the music room.
Guitar strumming flowed out of the door which was open just a jar. It was a familiar tone, but she couldn’t put her finger on it. She just needed the lyrics.
“Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lying on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you, where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me”
(YN)’s mouth gaped open at the beautiful. She started to wonder who the pipes belonged to. She began to approach the room slowly, not wanting to startle or interrupt whoever they were.
The boy stopped singing, but he was still humming the tune of You Found Me by The Fray. The closer she got, the louder the music got.
She snaked her neck around the corner of the door frame and tried to get a good look of the singer. The suspense caused her to forget about the Ashton situation.
At first look, all (YN) could see were the instruments and a bunch of stacks of chairs for the band students. The boy could’ve been behind the view of the door crack. (YN) tried her best to stick her head through the crack to get a better look. Just sticking her head a little bit through the crack, finally revealed who the boy was.
Ashton sat cozily on a chair, his hand hugging the neck of the guitar as he changed the music sheets for the next song.
It took her longer to take in that Ashton was the one singing. She almost forgot that Ashton was a star in music class, and she’s never heard him sing until now.
She gasped loudly, causing Ashton to look up at the door way. (YN) pulled back quick and widened her eyes. She ran down the hall, making sure her feet didn’t fall heavy. She needed to be out of sight of the music room.
Her heart was pounding, beating fast. She was afraid that Ashton had seen her snooping on him. She didn’t want to be the creepy-quiet type.
She sighed and shook the thoughts out of her head and went to her locker, hoping that this wouldn’t affect her mind for the two last periods.
Today, (YN) wasn’t expecting Ashton to come and sit with her, especially of yesterday’s events. Sure she was more okay with him not sitting there because he did see she was probably doing some school work and he didn’t fully ditch her but this time, she didn’t want to get her hopes up in case he didn’t sit with her again. She shoved her earphones into her ears and blared one of her playlists.
She kept her head down and ate her lunch quietly, not wanting to acknowledge anyone in the lunch room. With her ignorance, she missed Ashton walking through the west entrance of the cafeteria.
Ashton bit his lip and adjusted his glasses to the correct position. He watched (YN) from across the room as he made his way towards his spot in front of her. He sat down and smiled at her, though she didn’t notice. Her head was kept low and she woe earphones so there was no way in catching her attention.
He tried waving his hand but that didn’t seem to work either. “(YN)?” he said loudly, waving his arms for another try. “Can I talk to you, (YN)?”
(YN) kept her head down. It wasn’t because she wanted to ignore Ashton, it was because she genuinely didn’t see, hear, or feel Ashton’s presence. Ashton gave up and reached over to pull (YN)’s earphones out of her ears. “Hey!” she exclaimed. She looked up and grabbed the empty air in front of her, too slow for Ashton. “Oh,” she mumbled, realizing that it was the certain curly haired boy in front of her.
“Sorry,” Ashton blushed,”I - um - wanted to grab your attention but you couldn’t really see or hear me.” Ashton rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment,”Also I wanted to apologized for not coming yesterday. I had to rehearse a bunch of songs for band and I had no time other than lunch.”
“That’s... that’s okay. I didn’t really mind,” she lied. She did mind.
There was a thick and awkward silence between the two of them. (YN) tried to find the confidence she had built up for yesterday underneath the mountain of confusion and random train of thoughts.
“Why do you sit with me?” she blurted out, causing Ashton to give her full attention. “Ashton, you have your own group of friends. Why do you sit with me and not them?”
There was sudden stillness in the atmosphere as Ashton mentally built up his answer. After a few moments, he finally sighed out,”(YN).” She lifted her head higher, waiting for the answer that she’s been wanting for weeks.
Ashton still hadn’t confessed anything, leading her to conclusions,”You pity me, don’t you?” She let her head fall, breaking eye contact with Ashton,”You know you don’t need to do this? I’m used to it.” She felt a tear threaten to spill, but she forced it back. She started to like Ashton, but if he did pity her, she felt like a fool for liking someone who cared in that way.
“No, (YN), listen,” Ashton suddenly spoke before he was at a loss of words once again. He grunted and stood up, grabbing your wrist and lead you out towards the bleachers of the school, bringing you under them. She started to freak out, a ton of different ideas of how this could end running through her brain, but the look Ashton gave her provoked her to calm down even a little bit.
A few minutes passed in pure silence, Ashton opening and closing his mouth as if he had finally found the words he wanted to say. She waited patiently, wanting to know the answer.
“I still don’t know how to explain this but... but ever since you moved to this school, you caught my attention in a way that caught me super off guard,” he started, and from there he began to gain confidence,”You. You were quiet and you mostly kept to yourself but that’s what made you stand out to me. Your silence screamed out to me, in a good way, and it made me want to get to know you. I just didn’t know how to do that since I’m a very loud boy and I was worried that I would scare you away.” Ashton stopped to laugh at himself and then grabbed both of (YN)’s hands, asking for eye contact,”So I sorta decided to just sit with you for a while, thinking that if I did that, even without talking, you’d get comfortable with me. The boys let me do it since they knew how much I liked you.”
(YN) started to feel the butterflies in her stomach explode with a mixture of joy and shyness. “I’m sorry for this outburst,” he turned his attention to his shoes,”I would understand if you don’t have mutual feelings for me.” He pressed his lips into a thin line and dropped her hands. He turned to leave before (YN) had called him back,”Ashton! Wait.”
Ashton spun around with the feeling of hope. He gave (YN) a reassuring look that let her know that she could tell him anything.
“Ashton, I...I really like you too,” (YN) had confessed. She felt herself blush so she used the palm of her hand to hide it.
“You know, you look cute when you blush?” Ashton beamed.
“Shut up,” (YN) replied, revealing a bashful smile.
Ashton giggled and took one gentle step towards (YN), and planted a small peck on her lips.
