Greetings, netizens! It's been a long time, hasn't it?
Aunt Fish hasn't been well lately, but this should cheer her up -- the 5Star Doll Jadeite she got herself for her birthday has arrived early. Very early!
She's only ever had one grail besides our Jennifer, a Dollzone Una, and it's this little fellow we're about to meet...
It's a very sharp looking box, even hinged. Reminds me of a jeweler's! Let's see what's inside, shall we?
He arrived wrapped, quite aptly, in a cocoon of sorts. A double layered one, even. 5Star Doll seems to take special care with dolls they know have fiddly bits that may be fragile...
He's not as bright of a green as the original, but I imagine he'll brighten some as he yellows. Very savvy of them to take that into account! He also seems to have fewer joints, but it's hard to be sure with just the old photos.
He's a cute little fellow all put together, isn't he? He just has a bit of trouble standing, so I had to steady him.
He was all right once his wings were out and we sat down, though.
What this is... well, it's a mystery to me, but there were two of them, in different sizes. Perhaps a custom head puller? If anyone knows, please tell us in the notes!
