It was late, maybe around 2am? You didn't care to look at your phone to check. It was freezing in your room. It always was, which is helpful during the summer but during the winter?

You feel like every part of your body is frozen and turned into icicles. Your teeth chattering and body full of goosebumps anytime you're in your room.

You've complained to the building management about the heater not working but nobody really cared to listen so you were just stuck with this problem.

You've tried everything, you've collected every blanket in the dorm you possibly could, even stealing some of the member’s blankets. You even took Kenny's heated blanket but you were still freezing.

You didn’t know what else to do, the blankets weren't helping and the heater wasn’t even an option. Maybe one of the members would let you sleep in their rooms?You were so cold you didn't care what it would take to warm you up.

You got up and quickly wrapped yourself in one of the blankets. You first knocked on Aito’s door listening carefully for any sign of him being awake, you pressed your ear up to the door listening to only hear a few faint snores.

You moved on to Kenny's room, right before you could even get close enough to knock, Seok came out jumping a bit when he saw you, you both stared at each other with a mixture of shock and awkwardness. He gave you a small wave before quickly entering his room.

You decided to skip Kenny and Seok’s rooms and walked towards Nathan's room. You could tell he was awake because you could hear him singing and playing his new Pokémon game. You were trying to sleep not hang out so you walked towards the last door, Hyuk’s room.

Honestly you don't know why you didn't just walk to Hyuk's room first. You're always around him and you two are always cuddled up with each other so why would this be any different? You're just sleeping over.

You knocked a few times and could hear the bed sheets shuffle followed by foot steps. Hyuk opened the door, his eyes half open, his hair perfectly messy “hm?” “can I sleep over its freezing in my room” he nods, locking the door behind him as you crawl into his bed.

You made yourself comfortable and moved the sheets up to your chin, his bed was warm and comforting. As Hyuk got in bed he wrapped his arms around your torso pressing his head against the back of your neck. He was even warmer.

“You're so cold” Hyuk mumbled as he pulled you a bit closer to him

“Why do you think I’m here?”

“Because you can't stand being away from me”

He giggled as you smacked his hand, you sighed contently maybe it was true, maybe you really couldn’t stand being away from Hyuk but that didn’t matter because now you were in his arms warm and happy you could finally sleep without freezing your butt off. 

After a while you could tell Hyuk had already fallen asleep by how loose his hold on you got. And how he would mumble your name and not respond when you called out to him.

10 minutes or so pass when you start getting super sleepy. You could still hear the things around you like Nathan's singing, the hum of the heater, and Hyuk’s breathing, how it slowed and how it would hitch every now and then.

Your eyes started to feel heavy as you drifted off to sleep, dreaming of sweet nothings and things that only dream analysts would find meaning in. When you woke up you saw Hyuk asleep on your chest and a message from Kenny.

|Please don’t pay attention to the times I just noticed it as I’m posting this😣🫩🫰| a/n: I’ve never seriously written a fan fiction before so sorry if it’s not so well written. I know it’s summer but I just miss winter time plus 1verse is so winter coded. I also don’t know why I write about sleeping so much maybe it’s because I write at night and I’m tired but I hope you guys enjoy this I might stick to the texting stories though. I also might post this on Wattpad as well.☃️| edit: I talk too much T-T|
