I'm sharing this video. Ventura has a fertile creative scene. 5x5x5 used to be a live show that you'd go and watch at Namba and later at Art City. Well that changed with the covid, and performance art doesn't always translate well into video. But our good friend Steve has carried on doing John White's 5x5x5 project. What's so amazing is that if brings our little creative community on the west end of Ventura together for an hour or so to see things that you'll only get to see once, live and in person. Yes it is truly unconventional art, but to see each artist have a venue to express their inner creative beast is divine. John has left Ventura for Texas, for health reasons. Steve has carried on. These performers may not mean a lot to the world, but they're local heroes here -- they bring forth that inner need to be utterly human and enjoy every moment of it. Since the pandemic, segments have been filmed at our studio called "12 on the wall". A space where we work on our shows. Which are the The Dead Sullivan Show and Rhyme Without Reason. Spreading and fostering creative people is a joy and an honor. If you're a fan of performance art, please take a moment and hunt us down on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCf-_laYmQexI70VRMkqH_wg/channels?view=49&shelf_id=8
Thanks for lending our creative community your time! Cheers, Max Rainet.
