I think I made this post before but I can't remember. Since I'm thinking abt it I'll just say it again.

I wonder how many people simply aren't aware there are more options. When I brought up the subject of kink and BDSM and different roles with my partner for the first time ever, there was a lot of "I never even knew that was an option for me" in those exact words. He spent his whole life confined to one role and one limited selection of actions. Realizing he didn't have to was exciting for him.

That made me even more certain in my suspicion that most vanilla and gender role conforming people do what they do sexually bc they are primarily exposed to one gender-based way to have sex. And if someone suggests alternatives and lets them think about it, they'd realize hey wait. That sounds fun! I'd rather do that instead!

Especially people who have vanilla gender role conforming sex and don't find it that fun in the first place. Maybe it's not that they don't like sex. Maybe they just don't like THAT kind of sex. I just knowww many of these sad c.hristian couples could instantly make their reproductive-only-activities into something other than a chore.
