Setlock Recap, 6.19.16 - 6.26.16
We received more unconfirmed information about the interior filming in Miskin, saying that the set was supposedly intended to represent a pscyhologist’s office they were visiting (though whether that’s for only some of the interior scenes or all of them is unclear).
Supporting actor Lee Kemp’s CV updated to list him as playing an MI6 agent in episode 2.
A casting call was issued for a boy to play young Sherlock in a couple flashbacks in episode 3. The posting specified that the role was that of a 6-year-old Sherlock and that it was a non-speaking role. It also confirmed that filming for block 3 will begin on Monday, June 27.
David Arnold (music) headed to Cardiff for a meeting about Sherlock.
Arwel gave us a selfie from Sherlock’s chair, and many people immediately zeroed in on the fact that there’s a small violin case sitting behind him near the window.
Sarah Arthur (costumes) mentioned a fitting for Mark Gatiss, despite a leak in the truck leaving everything wet.

Dear Myself,
Electronically, sometimes things don’t work as they’re supposed to. Sometimes a mouse won’t connect, or a program won’t open. Other times the screen freezes or there’s a noise coming from the tower. Most of the time there’s something wrong with what you’re doing. The mouse you’re trying to connect has drivers you need to update. The program you want to open is already running in the background and you can’t open it twice. You overload the cpu and your computer studders. The noise coming from the tower is just the fan not connecting.
These things are all reasonable things. Computers should be able to connect to mice and programs should open. They should not freeze and no noise should be coming from them. These are all reasonable expectations. You should expect these issues to resolve themselves because they are all things that a computer is able to do. You are not asking for much. Only what is expected.
But when you want to connect a Playstation 2 Guitar Hero controller to your PC to play a game emulated from a Nintendo 64 game, you are expecting too much. This may be too specific of a problem to be made up, and that’s because you’re right. When you’re trying to do something completely batshit insane, don’t expect it to work. Especially when there are several degrees of implausible bullshit that needs to go right in order to work. It’s like a skyscraper built on the edge of a cliff. You should have no expectations that it should ever work and you are dumb for even attempting it.
Sincerely, Myself
