when I woke up and realized I'd just swallowed my gum I wanted to cough it up without disturbing people, but then I really woke up and realized I was actually home alone so I went to the bathroom to try and get it out over the sink after unsuccessful attempts in bed. I was sure I could feel it down in my throat but it was just out of reach to grab.
only about 10-20 minutes later did I snap out of it and remember that's impossible because I'd been sleeping and hadn't eaten any food or had a piece of gum at all yesterday or this morning.
