#rueminates. . . an interpretation of rue bennett by ripley 𓄧 extremely private. levinson hater. i have not seen s3 and i don't respect it. rules. memes.

content notice: there will be depictions of drug/alcohol use on this blog. as of right now, i won't be tagging mentions of drug/alcohol use. i will only be tagging when rue is actively using within a thread or reminiscing on prior use. the tag will be "tw: drug use."

addiction can be a life consuming thing. your world can revolve around it. but i don't want this blog to be solely depictions of rue using or chasing her next high. still, threads where rue is not sober seem unavoidable. i do not want to glorify drug use; however, we are shown that rue sometimes does revere it. (ie: "drugs are pretty fucking cool.") rue sometimes having positive experiences while using is not me writing usage as a good thing. it is tearing her life apart.

finally, rue is a black woman and an addict. i am not. there is a lot of stigma and disdain for a person like rue and i do not want to play into it. i love that girl. if you ever feel that i am misportraying an aspect of rue or missing something, please reach out.
