#6136 The Veil x Monkish Liquor Back Jammy (USA) This bad boy is interesting af. It’s a 10.4% triple IPA collab with Nelson, Sabro, Mosaic and Citra conditioned on fresh Riesling and Chardonnay juice, with Phantasm - a powder from New Zealand derived from Sauvignon Blanc and is a thiol bomb (a sulfur analogue of alcohols). It pours a murky dark yellow with a bubbly head and a bright winey nose, the beer kind spurted out (potentially due to the grapes), it’s thick and chalky, the wine vibes are super intense and up front, it’s dry and clean, it’s tangy and really the closest NEIPA I’ve ever tasted to wine, it’s genuinely like they poured a triple IPA into a Chard, ending in a dry, sticky finish.
