Happy Experiment 628 Day! 🔵
We are still waiting to this very day on what this experiment looks like, so here's some more drawings of a blue experiment pod!
628 by Harara (X/Twitter) – ❓
628 Day by kurage0404 (X/Twitter) – That's the medal given out to participants of Stitch's Ohana Challenge runDisney event at Walt Disney World earlier this year, hence the theming from this artist during the past week. (They ran in the event themselves!)
628 Day by ZUNDAMOTI2002 (X/Twitter) – 🎵Lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely...🎵
628 by Kinowan (X/Twitter) – Jumba's very proud of this experiment, but again, I wish we got to see it!
Happy Experiment 628 Day! 🔵
Umm... Uhh... Yay for blue pods of unrevealed artificial alien creatures?
🤷Ah well...

Happy Experiment 628 Day! 👽❓
Today (barely in time for me) is the day that we would celebrate this unknown experiment who we only saw as a pod. I would try to find a drawing of a blue pod with the number 628 printed on it and share it with you guys here.
But this time around, I'm going to focus on fan-made experiments in general instead. So many experiments have been made by fans over the years, whether they're to try to fill the many empty spaces of unseen experiments made before Stitch, "fankids" of pre-existing experiments (usually Stitch and Angel), "new" experiments made by Jumba after Leroy (X-629), or "experimentsonas"/"Stitchsonas" that fans use to identify with. The fans keep the cuteness and fluffiness going!
Here are just a handful of fan-made experiments over the years. (And you will find more fan experiments in our zine!)
Dryspell, Soda, and Shyft by Ribera – One of the oldest Lilo & Stitch fan artists, Ribera is known for having designed a number of original experiments over the years. The devilish Dryspell (left) and sweet little Shyft (right) are two of his oldest original experiments, having been originally made for a fan comic he worked on, while Soda (center) was inspired by a creature of Chinese culture years before Stitch & Ai came along. However, fans are probably most familiar with his long-time experimentsona, Rib, who isn't in this post but you can find lurking in our zine!
Ovni by Petrock – Another one of the older experimentsonas, Ovni's adorable gray squirrel-like design with touches of yellow was a fun sight for fans to see. New art of him have slowed down these days as his owner lost much of his passion for the franchise, but he will always be part of the fans' 'ohana.
X-503: Comet by @artist-issues for @stitchandani (DeviantArt, Tumblr) – While I am aware that Arti made a 628 design, I decided to go with a different experiment instead. I really like Comet's simple yet adorable armadillo design, and her little backstory is sweet. Combine them together and you've got yourself a very huggable experiment. (As any experiment should be. Also, just the basic idea of a flying armadillo experiment sounds awesome.) Anyway, check out the Stitch & Ani project for more original experiment designs.
Cling by LittleTiger488 with plushie of theX-plotion's interpretation of 621/Chopsuey – A couple more old fan experiments, here. Cling was essentially an experiment alt of LittleTiger488's fursona April. She was designed to, you guessed it, cling onto things. She was especially fond of Yaarp. The blue experiment plush she's hugging is theX-plotion's interpretation of Experiment 621, Chopsuey, who is an officially seen experiment (from the PS2 prequel game Disney's Stitch: Experiment 626) but looks nothing like this. theX-plotion's 621's power is, uh, interesting to say the least. (Warning: Linked DeviantArt page contains cartoonish depiction of blood from a head injury in greyscale.)
Jinx by MiriamTheBat – MiriamTheBat was another old Lilo & Stitch fan artist from back in the old days. Her DeviantArt account has since been deactivated but her art remains available on there. She made a few fan experiments of her own and wrote some stories about them. Jinx was one of them; this ref sheet doesn't really show it, but she was basically Shoe on steroids with little in the way of good luck. She's an all-powerful monster in her "evil" form, but a scared and shy sweetie in her "good" form.
Full Speed Ahead! by Specky-Arts – Here's quartet of experiments having some summer fun at a water park! The picture experiments here are Speaky-Arts' own Speck (upper-right), NekonK's Nekon (lower-right; DeviantArt account deactivated), AcesGrace96's E01GF/Tah-Koh (upper-left), and Veggiebad's Jack (lower-left), the last of whom you can find in our zine!
Twinsies! by @blushbaker – When these two realized they both share a cookies n' cream design, they just had to become siblings! The experiment on the left with the red neckerchief is CitrusDenny's Oreo, while the blue-eyed one on the right is Blushbaker's own Cookie. Sadly, we don't see much of Oreo or her artist/owner these days, but she was a creative force of nature when she was active in the fandom.
Angora by @angoraram – An absolute legend in the Lilo & Stitch fandom, my good achi-baba Angora burst onto the Lilo & Stitch fandom with art as adorable and lively as she is. She's made a decent collection of original experiment designs over the years, many of which she put up for adoption. You can find them on her DeviantArt gallery, which now boasts over 1100 followers!
New Batch by @salty-nebula – Another good achi-baba of mine, Ryuko Rose or "Salty Nebula" has been a longtime member of the fandom. They've made a lot of fan kids of Jumba's experiments such as these five. I'm particularly fond of their Heat/Kixx fan daughter Minerva (or "Minnie"); she can get a bit grumpy sometimes, but she has a heart as big as she is, as her closeness with Rei's Stitch/Angel fan daughter Lana shows.
005/Truxx, 028/Lori, 034/Splort, and 038/Plats by Sketch-Lampoon, art by @psychedelic-lemur – Matthew "Sketch-Lampoon" Robson was one of the more notable artists in the fandom mainly due to his one ultimate goal; to draw every single one of Jumba's experiments, seen or unseen. Sadly, he's disappeared from DeviantArt without having quite completed his goal yet, but his many unique experiment designs will always be an inspiration to the fans. @psychedelic-lemur is one of them; he had been taking on the same difficult task for the last couple years, drawing Robson's own designs (like the ones seen above) alongside the canonical ones.
There's one more day left as 20th Anniversary Stitch Week comes to a close, so don't say "Aloha 'Oe" just yet!
