15 Dead As Moroccan Landslide Buries Van, Rescue Fails
15 persons riding in a van were killed by a landslide in the Atlas Mountains south of Marrakech, local authorities said on Friday.
The landslide, caused by heavy rain, buried the van on Wednesday evening in the area of Asni.
The victims, including 11 women, 3 men and 1 child, were killed after a van was buried Wednesday night by a landslide following torrential rains at the town of Tuk Al-Khair.
