the boat rushed through rock’s hair as he chuckled lightly. “man, boat ride to your parents place, think we’ll be a bit flashy for em?” he looked to his side as liang walked up next to him, laying on the rail of the ship. “doubtful.” he stated bluntly as the light fog waved out of their sites, rock seeing enough to see the land up ahead; a hillside with a gated arch entrance and...graves...well now he really didn’t know how to go about THIS subject.
-------------------------
walking around the gravestones rock hummed lightly as liang looked through them. waving lightly at some of the ghosts there, nearly tripping over a ghost child’s ball before bumping into his fiance. “oi man-oh wait did ya find em?” he looked over his shoulder finding two graves on the lower portion of the hill as liang sighed. “of course, not very high.” he grumbled as both stood over the two graves, only silence filling the air.
“....so uhm...do we light some incense and bow or, something?”
“i...dunno.” rock looked surprised. “you WHAT!?”
“it’s not like i know THAT much on this stuff i worked in an underworld and was an assassin does it really seem like i researched ANYTHING!?” he replied as rock shrunk up a bit. “....okay gotta point.”
he sighed and moved to walk away. “oii wait a sec we just got here!?”
“i mean, i mostly came here to have you ‘meet’ my parents. we’ve met them. we can go whenever.” he stated as rock gave a confused but annoyed eyebrow raise to him. “were they that bad?”
“i mean, i barely knew either of them.” he shrugged. “i don’t see much purpose in sentimental things.” he looked back to find rock with his back turned looking to the graves. walking up a bit he moved to get back his attention-
“eheh yeah, the feathers are...i guess kinda heritage wise? bbut y’know i can take em off sir i-”
“what’re you doing?” rock paused to look back at him. “oh yeah, this one lady was askin about my feather accessories.” he stated as he took them out letting his wild hair out, wincing lightly at nothing and looking back to the graves. “eheh uh, should i put em back sir?”
liang sighed as he watched. right, he almost forgot bout this ‘ghost seeing’ power. “rock, why’re you letting a ghost determine what you wear?”
“well, i mean i told em we were getting married so y’know, ya dad apparently wants me to...uh ‘look worthy for you’...right sir?” liang’s eyes widened as he hid behind the beefy american. “my...their...why the hell are they here?!” he exclaimed. “should’t they be in...i dunno the afterlife?!”
“well...i mean i noticed a couple ghosts here wearing red and their-”
“figures, now i have to wonder which dumbass put them in red!” he stated as he pinched the bridge of his nose lightly as rock nodded to the graves. “apparently it was one of the only things they had.” he stated as liang grumbled a bit as rock listened more. “what’re they saying now?”
before he even got a reply rock put an arm around him. “oh yeah liang? he’s pretty awesome! i mean, i dunno what either of ya guys saw, but he’s pretty strong and brave, went up to his old mob boss and kicked his pig ass twice.” he smiled as liang blushed lightly. “he’s done some fucked up shit but, y’know, he’s trying his best. and well, trying his best is better then not trying at all, right?”
liang looked away slightly with his face flushing further, looking back to see rock blushing a shade of red. “...are you talking to my mother?”
“wh-i-how-”
“you always turn red around girls.”
“i mean...eheh well...ya definietly get alot of uh...looks from both of em eheh.” he rubbed the back of his neck before moving his arm away to shake someone’s invisible hand. “oh yeah their askin if we can invite em to the wedding?”
“their ghosts, do they need one?”
“liaaaang it’s just common decensyyyy. sides they wanna make sure it’s got a good fifty percent of chinese in it.”
“fifty percent of- what did they think it’d look like?”
“burgers and american flags i guess.” liang sighed lightly at that. “guess i should’ve seen that coming. but very well their invited.”
-----------------------------------
as both started to board the ship a thought popped into liang’s head. “rock.”
“yeah?”
“how did you know what they were saying?”
“eheh, well that’s an interesting story. ya see-”
the blare of the ship’s horn echoed throughout the area as it drove away from the foggy island’s hill.

“Are you trying to seduce me?”
“Depends. Are you seducible?”
"I am married."
Rock's face fell when the handsome man in front of him told him the lethal information. He has been showering him in compliments since the moment he walked up to him in the bar where has been drinking with his friends. He was just so nice to the eye, with soft and androgynous facial features, piercing magenta eyes brought out by a subtle eye shadow and long long silky black hair. He was of average height, yet obviously shorter and less sturdier than Rock. Rock was just in love the moment he walked in.
And then, all his dreams with the man in front of him made in the last five minutes, and his heart, were shattered to pieces.
"You're married?!" Rock almost screamed, minuscule tears forming in his eyes.
The man raised his left hand showing off a golden band on his finger. "Yes."
Rock was a powerful man, he could get over it. "They're very lucky." he whispered then chugged his drink quickly. "Barman, give me five more beers."
"No, barman, no!" the man screamed, making hand gestures to the man. He turned back to Rock, looking a little annoyed.
"First you break my heart and then you won't let me drink away my sadness? I knew you were too good for me, but let me cry a bit!"
"Rock-"
"You know my name?" his face was touched, honored that such a gorgeous creature would know his name.
"I have been calling you that for the last 15 minutes."
"Oh, yeah, I must have forgot, it's the alcohol."
"Rock," the stranger took his left hand and brought it up, to his face, "look at your fingers."
Rock's vision was very hazy from the alcohol, but he would do anything for that man in front of him. He tried to squint his eyes in concentration and finally saw he had himself a golden band. He stared in shock.
"Oh my god!" he screamed, maybe enough for the whole bar to hear, despite the man's attempts to shush him. "I am married! Oh my god, I am such a horrible husband."
"Rock, look closer at it." asked the man. He brought his own right near his, for comparison. "Don't this two look a lot alike?"
"What do you mean? Aren't most wedding rings almost the same."
Liang looked up in desperation, he wasn't getting through Rock at all. "Rock, we are married!"
Rock's eyes widened more. "We are married?! And I was just here, flirting with you like that?!"
"Rock, calm down-"
"I can't just calm down! I was like... Kinda cheating on you? I am a bit confused, but you should break up with me!"
"Rock, I am not breaking up with you." Liang laughed, touching his face with glee. "You don't have to worry about this, I am not breaking up with you."
"You aren't?" Rock almost didn't believe that.
"Yes, I am not." Liang smiles happilya and kisses his nose.
Rock allowed himself to smile at that. He was suddenly getting giddy with happiness. He turned around, where one of his friends was still drinking. "Uno," he screamed after him, "did you know I am married?"
"Everybody does, Rock."
He turned back to his husband. "I am the luckiest man alive."
"You are."
"Hey," he whispered, like he was about to divulge a big and important secret, "does this mean that you were seducible?"
Liang's smile got bigger, but he put distance between them and dragged him towards the exit. "Maybe tomorrow, after you have your coffee."
