Hello! So the story started back last september when I persuaded my parents to get tickets for the wembley show this june. It was kinda an impulse thing, because prior to that it never realistically crossed my mind that seeing One Direction or 5SOS live was an achievable thing for me.
I felt nervous, scared and excited all at the same time. It was so surreal and sort of unbelievable for me. Well, I don't live in the UK or anywhere near the UK, I live in Asia in fact.
Then from sep to june, I had 251 days to countdown. Met a lot of fangirls online that were going to the same show, became really good friends with them and just gotten really more buzzed up for the show.
This 5th of June, I flew to London along with my family who planned our holiday with the concert. I love them so much, thank you! When I arrived at Wembley, honestly it was an amazing sight to see so many people gathered at one place for an act. Like you can see pictures of crowds on the internet but it never compares to when you are really there near the concert venue. Literally, ever restaurant, every shop, every corner you could see fans decked up in merchandise shirts and carrying one direction merchandise bags. I arrived at around 10am on 6th June and there was already a queue for the standing pits, I had the reserved seats. Often, I would read about fans camping out or queueing at the crack of dawn but never i thought there would be so many like 7 hours before the doors open.
Going into the stadium was the weirdest experience of my life, I didn't know what to expect. This was my first concert ever, like ever. It was really surreal when I stepped out into the stadium and went to my seat. The stadium was massive and the stage that I've seen in pictures suddenly stood in front of me. Just the whole vibe from the audience was amazing, friends chatting away, singing and things like that just amazing.
Then 5SOS came on, was amazing. Literally, the whole stadium erupted in screams that your ear would just ring. They did their set, did few speeches, be their normal weird funny crazy self. It was the best thing ever.
One Direction was next, the whole stadium was already so pumped up. You could feel the excitement from people queueing up all day, it was somewhat magical really. And when the boys came up it went on totally another level. The classic Zayn's high notes, Niall's better than words crotch grab, Harry's whale, Liam's amazing grooves and Louis's amazing solos would cause the stadium to erupt even more. I didn't know how amazing it was.
This would be the best experience of my life. I still cannot imagine that I actually watched them live. I can't. And I am so glad that they will be coming to Asia next year so more of us can live our dreams.
