Day 6. Menjadi Langkahku Tetaplah menjadi kaki yg menemani langkahku, di jalan beraspal, di sawah dan ladang-ladang, di kota dan desa-desa, di mana saja kita. Aku selalu menyediakan langkahku utk kakimu, menemani ke mana saja kau ingin melanjutkan tualang penuh rindu. Jgn takut tersesat, sebab aku adalah langkah yg membuatmu selamat, sebab kamu adalah tujuan paling jauh, juga paling dekat. Melangkahlah sampai kau lupa kita pernah sama-sama pergi utk menjauhi luka lalu bersama selamanya -boy chandra

Different Place I'm in a different place with my mind state It's been shaped in ways I can't escape My mind floats through the waves surfing instead of a breaststroke finding that my best hope for alleviation was on to the next station leaving, impatient, not waiting I guess I moved on to different things and different faces or none at all passing through places as if I weren't there seeing people I always knew as if I didn't care with them not knowing the difference self-centering all of their stares It's not so much offensive as it is surprising to see how many can notice so little I used to move in similar ways as far as focus but even so from a young age life showed this narrow view to be detrimental to moves that I tried to make that I tried to shake Quick thinking got me out of a lot of those situations and I owe my life to it though I did get a run for my money in more than figurative ways I can laugh about it now in a different place outwitting and outsmarting those with deadly designs in their eyes but if I hadn't learned to refuse to be blind to the surroundings and actions around then I wouldn't be around Words wouldn't resound or resonate because they wouldn't escape to a public display wouldn't cause any dismay in relationships wouldn't have to worry if they were taken serious or too serious never getting it quite right no matter how many words I'd write whether I did it with the left or the right or if I stayed awake deep into the night always realizing that I indeed live a life of fight and that in lieu of that I would die But instead I'm in a different place preparing for the next battle to face #nationalpoetrymonth #aaronglover #6of30 #differentplace #writer #lyricist #poetry #poet #thingsmisterhustleusedtodo #poem
